0506 惧怕不是你的朋友
惧怕不是你的朋友，所以不要再呼应它；停止听从仇敌向你投掷的每一个谎言，好像你没有能力抵挡一样。拒绝那使你在恐惧中退缩的邀请，反而要不断默想神为你所预备的结局。要宣告我的真理，拿起你信心的盾牌，它必能熄灭地狱一切的火箭。要站立得稳，要刚强壮胆。
你是有能力的，充满了那使我儿子从死里复活同样的圣灵。要信靠我在你里面的爱的能力。把你的信心扎入惧怕的核心，把它从你的灵魂中拔除。把它推到我面前，信靠我就是我所说的那一位；惧怕与信靠不能共存。你不需要把一切都弄明白；不要让仇敌欺骗你，以为不断思想这些事就会改变它——不会的。只要把这一切交在我手中，并向惧怕关上门；我就在这里与你同在。把惧怕交给我，信靠我。
门徒叫醒耶稣，说：“主啊，主啊，我们要沉下去了！你不顾我们要淹死了吗？”耶稣以极大的权柄斥责狂风和汹涌的波浪，它们立刻止息，变得平静如镜。于是耶稣对他们说：“你们为什么惧怕？你们失去对我的信心了吗？”—— 路加福音 8:24-25
0506 Fear is not your friend.
Fear is not your friend, so stop agreeing with it. Stop listening to every lie the enemy throws at you, as if you don’t have the power to resist it. Decline the invitation to cower in fear, while rehearsing the outcome he has envisioned for you. Declare my truth. Take up your shield of faith. It will quench the fiery darts of hell. Stand and be courageous.
You are powerful, filled with the same Spirit that raised my Son from the grave. Trust the power of my love within you. Dig your faith into the heart of fear and tear it away from your soul. Thrust it before my presence and trust me to be who I say I am. Fear and trust cannot coexist. You do not have to figure this out. Don’t allow the enemy to trick you into thinking that obsessing over this will change it. It will not. Simply release this into my hands and close the door to fear. I am here with you. Release the fear. Trust me.
The disciples woke Jesus up and said, “Master, Master, we’re sinking! Don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” With great authority Jesus rebuked the howling wind and surging waves, and instantly they stopped and became as smooth as glass. Then Jesus said to them, “Why are you fearful? Have you lost your faith in me?”– LUKE 8:24-25
