1019 我是平安
親愛的，你所需要的並不是沒有問題。事實上，只要你還在這地上，你就會面對令人不舒服的處境。你所需要的，是在這些處境當中有平安。問題會來來去去，但你絕不能讓它們支配你的情緒。你可以搜尋整個世界，去找一些能夠減輕你壓力的東西，但若要真正經歷你所渴望的平安，到我這裡來，因為我就是平安。
親近我，我就必親近你。將你的焦慮，與我同在的醫治能力交換。把憂慮和怕懼獻上，並允許我深入到足夠的程度，從根源將它們拔出來。花時間與我一同安息，讓你的心被醫治。只要你願意放下任何想要控制的需要，我就能夠成為你所需要的平安之主。把那些擔憂放在我的手中，並將它們留在那裡。我賜給你的平安，是超越理解的平安；我將我自己賜給你。
這就是那位將力量和能力賜給他子民的；這就是賜我們平安之吻的主。——詩篇 29:11
1019 I am peace.
Beloved, it isn’t an absence of problems you need. In fact, as long as you’re on this earth, you will face uncomfortable situations. What you need is peace in the midst of them. Problems will come and go, but you must not allow your emotions to be dictated by them. You can search the entire world to find something to ease your stress, but to truly experience the peace you crave, come to me. For I am peace.
Draw near to me, and I will draw near to you. Exchange your anxiety for the healing power of my presence. Offer up the worry and fear and allow me to go deep enough to pull them out by the roots. Take time to rest with me and to heal your heart. As long as you’re willing to let go of any need for control, I can be the Lord of peace that you need me to be. Put those cares in my hands and leave them there. I offer you peace that goes beyond understanding. I offer you myself.
This is the one who gives his strength and might to his people. This is the Lord giving us his kiss of peace. –PSALM 29:11
