0728 你是有能力的
親愛的，你是否意識到自己是多麼有能力？這並非取決於你聲音的大小、禁食的次數，或是祈禱的時間長短。當你全然相信我對你的愛時，你才是最強大的。當你從安息的狀態出發去戰鬥時，沒有什麼能夠擊敗你。
你爭戰的武器，是藉着我、藉着你對自己在我裡面那堅定不移的信心，才充滿能力。當你完全確信我的愛，了解我的性情，懼怕就不會驅使你做出反應。相反，你會以信心回應。你會相信我就是我所說的那一位，當你信靠我對你的愛時，你就會找到那與爭戰截然相反的寧靜。當你相信我了解這場爭戰，並且會與你並肩作戰，為你而戰時，你便擁有了強大的能力。安息是你最強大的武器之一，因為它顯明你裡面沒有懼怕。在安息中，我藉着平安，向你顯明你究竟需要做什麼，或者不需要做什麼。要在與我的親密關係中，找到你的力量。
正當他們渡湖的時候，忽然起了狂風暴雨，猛烈的風浪不斷衝擊船身，幾乎要將船淹沒。耶穌卻安靜地睡在船尾，靠着枕頭安歇。——馬可福音 4:37-38
0728 You are powerful.
Beloved, have you realized how powerful you are? It isn’t because of the volume of your voice, the number of times you fast, or the hours you spend in prayer. You are most powerful when you fully believe in my love for you. You are unbeatable when you fight from a posture of rest.
The weapons of your warfare are powerful through me, through your unshakable confidence of your position in me. When you’re fully convinced of my love and understand my character, fear won’t push you to react. Instead, you will respond with faith. You will believe I am who I say I am. You will find that place of stillness that contradicts warfare when you trust my love for you. You are powerful when you believe that I am aware of the battle and am fighting for you and alongside you. Rest is one of your most powerful weapons because it reveals the absence of fear in you. Out of the place of rest, I reveal, through peace, exactly what you need to do or what you don’t need to do. Find your strength in the place of intimacy with me.
Suddenly, as they were crossing the lake, a ferocious tempest arose, with violent winds and waves that were crashing into the boat until it was all but swamped. But Jesus was calmly sleeping in the stern, resting on a cushion. –MARK 4:37-38
