0717 我必以我的名堅立你
讓我的兒子成為你們的榜樣，祂沒有追求與當時的宗教名流觥籌交錯；而是與罪人同席，坐在破碎之人中間與之相伴。祂更關心的是使疲乏的人重新得力，而不是迎合那些驕傲之人。憐憫之心驅使祂走向不受歡迎的地方，激起那些誤解祂的人的憎恨。
祂所做的一切，都是因為祂看見我這樣。祂走上了通往死亡的道路，只為贏得你的靈魂。祂的一生就是愛——完美的犧牲，一段卑微謙和的旅程，卻蘊含著至高無上的力量。這就是我呼召你要活出來的生命：一種源於你內心的感動而流淌出來的生命，使你能夠像我一樣去愛。不要忽略你裡面升起的憐憫，不要推開我聖靈的提醒，遠離眾人注目的聚光燈，而要帶着我的榮耀進入黑暗之處。要不斷地求問我：你要走的每一步，你該走哪一條路，你應該與誰交談，以及我如何看待你所遇到的每一個人。不要為自己建立名聲；要建立我的國度，我必以我的名堅立你。
我向你們講述永恆不變的真理：子不能憑着自己做什麼，也不能從自己的意思出發做什麼。我只做我看見父所做的事，因為子所做的事，正與父所做的一樣。——約翰福音 5:19
0717 I will establish you in my name.
Let my Son be your example. He didn’t seek to dine with the religious celebrities of the day; he ate with sinners and sat with the broken. He was more concerned with reviving the weary than acknowledging the proud. Compassion drove him to unpopular places, stirring the hatred of those who misunderstood him.
All he did, he did because he saw me do it. He followed the path that would lead to death, in order to win your soul. His life was love–a perfect sacrifice, a lowly, humble journey of the greatest power. This is the life I call you to: a life that flows from the stirrings of your heart and enables you to love the way I do. Don’t ignore the compassion that rises within you. Don’t brush aside the nudges of my Spirit to step away from the limelight and reach into darkness with my glory. Ask me, each step of the way, which path you should take, who you should talk to, and how I see the people you encounter. Don’t build a name for yourself. Build my kingdom, and I will establish you in my name.
I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father. –JOHN 5:19
