0404 安靜吧，親愛的！
即使你的身體靜止不動，你仍是匆忙急促着；思緒持續在你的思想里奔跑，那些思緒並未把你引到我這裡。放慢你的心思；停下來，安靜。來，花時間與我同在；深呼吸，吸入我的平安，呼出你的憂慮，交在我可信的手中。讓我以那超越你有限理解的平安充滿你；將那份掛慮鬆開交給我。
要在安靜中、在信靠中，獲得勇氣【要勇於安靜，勇於信靠。】我正帶領你走一條不同的道路，一條多結果子並充滿平安的路。我尊重你的殷勤要做完事情，但我有更高的道路；我的道路不會奪去你的平安與喜樂。生活的要求是真實的，但若你稍退一步，就能從我的角度看清哪些才是真正重要的。你不必把每一天都勉強包裝成一個精緻的小禮盒，要讓每個人都快樂，或耗盡你自己的精神。說“不”並安息，是可以的；照顧你自己，也是可以的。在這些要求之中，我要你學習像我愛你那樣愛你自己。安靜吧，親愛的；要安靜。
我站立在完全的靜默中，在我所愛的那一位面前安靜無聲，耐心等候，直到祂來拯救我。唯有神是我的拯救者，祂絕不會讓我失望。因為唯有祂是我安全之地；祂環繞的同在常常保護我，作我得勝的捍衛者。在神裡面，絕沒有失敗的風險！——詩篇 62:5-6
0404 Be still, dear one.
Even when your body is still, you’re still rushing. Your mind is constantly running with thoughts that do not lead to me. Slow your mind. Be still and quiet. Come spend time with me and breathe. Inhale my peace, and exhale your cares into my trustworthy hands. Let me fill you with peace that passes your limited understanding. Release that concern to me.
Take courage in stillness, in trust. I’m leading you down a different path, one that is fruitful and filled with peace. I honor your diligence to get things done, but I have a higher way. My way doesn’t strip you of peace and joy. The demands of life are real, but if you will take a step back, you will see which ones are important from my perspective. You don’t have to force each day into a pretty little package that makes everyone happy or drains you of sanity. It is okay to say no and rest. It’s okay to take care of yourself. In the midst of these demands, I want you to learn to love yourself the way that I love you. Be still, dear one. Be still.
I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one l love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. For he alone is my safe place. His wraparound presence always protects me as my champion defender. There’s no risk of failure with God!– PSALM 62:5-6
